2020 Erin Condren LifePlanner for the New Year

I was gifted the 2020 Erin Condren LifePlanner and accessories for my honest review. There is an affiliate link at the end of this post. As always, opinions are my own.

A new planner is one of the coolest ways to kick off a new year, don’t you think?

Each year, Erin Condren surprises me with their newest accessories and designs. You just never know what they’ll come up with next, but I can guarantee it’ll always be super cute!

Now let’s see what they have in store for 2020!

New Look

One of the things I love about having an interchangeable cover is the ability to use different designs throughout the year.

My LifePlanner was sent with their Watercolor Blooms Cover. It’s a beautiful floral cover of soft pastels.

When you order a cover, you can choose to personalize the front cover with your name and every cover includes a back cover for the back of your LifePlanner.

All of the covers are laminated and have a dry erase design on the back of them. That’s when you could put your dry erase markers to good use!

Weekly Layouts

You can choose from horizontal, vertical or hourly layout. To see an example of the vertical layout, you can view this layout on my older blog post.

However, my favorite layout is horizontal. I feel like I have more space to write out what I need and it makes it easier for me to keep track of everything all in one box.

The layouts offered are great because everyone manages their time differently. The hourly are for those who have pressing, daily tasks at hand. The vertical are split into blocks of time so you can set your schedules in that manner. Horizontal are for those like me who like to write out a paragraph worth of notes for the day LOL

You can also choose your LifePlanner’s color theme: Colorful or Neutral (colorful is my fave!)

Coiled LifePlanner

First off, I want to say congrats to the Erin Condren team for officially earning the Good Housekeeping Seal! What does that mean?

The Good Housekeeping Institute has tested the Erin Condren LifePlanners and can officially say the planners live up to what it advertises and you’re not wasting your money behind it.

Now let’s talk about coils!

When ordering your LifePlanner, Platinum is the default coil color. However you can pick Gold, Rose Gold, or Black for an additional fee. So far I’ve had every color except Black as my coil for past LifePlanners and each color looked very nice. Just be sure when ordering additional covers to swap out that they will look well with your coil color.

So far I haven’t had that issue.

What’s Inside

So many helpful extras are spread throughout the planner. I noticed in this year’s planner at the start of each month you have a space to set goals for the month, a go-to birthdays reminder and a page similar in design to the dry erase design (except this one is not dry erase, it’s regular paper.)

I also enjoy reading the inspirational quotes for each month. Erin Condren is widely known for their motivational quotes.

Here is the list of what’s inside each planner according to their website:

-Mini months
-Monthly quotes
-Monthly notes and productivity pages
-Dated monthly, weekly spreads
-Additional notes in the back
-Coloring and dot grid pages
-Inspiration board and contacts page
-4 sticker sheets
-1 Keep It Together Folder

I love the Keep It Together Folder as well. This year’s folder holds your important documents more securely and if you want, you can store your Perpetual Calendar in it. Also, I can’t believe I forgot to mention the new stickers included in the planners!

They’re metallic stickers which I absolutely LOVE! You also will find pages in the planner for coloring, saving contacts and calendar at a glance.

This year’s LifePlanners also arrive in a very useful storage box that can be used for your accessories or for your planner’s safe keeping. My LifePlanner arrived in this colorful, pastel Kaleidoscope Storage Box (another new pattern from Erin Condren.)

Colorful Must Haves

I was also sent some new accessories to go with my planner. Their Kaleidoscope Multi Planny Pack is easy storage for stickers, business cards, pencils, markers and pens. Speaking of pens! Check out their new Bright Designer Gel Pens – they glide nicely on your planner paper and do not bleed through from what I’ve experienced so far.

I also find their Metallic Gold Pen Holder very useful since it can attach to the planner, along with the Kaleidoscope Snap-in To-Do List Dashboard. The dashboard also allows you to keep track of habits like staying hydrated. I’m having a tough time keeping up with my daily intake of water. My days are just so busy.

So there you have it! I think I’m ready to conquer 2020, are you?
