If you’re a long time reader of our blog or watch our Insta Stories then I’m sure you know how much we love all things Italy! Especially Italian food. In fact, we love Italy so much that when Meshach and I were planning our big wedding and reception, we actually cancelled all of it and went to Italy instead.
When we cook Italian food at home, we mainly use marinara sauce, so when we were asked to try Barilla’s Creamy Genovese Pesto we couldn’t wait to taste it with our favorite pasta!

A Dinnertime Hit
I think the last time we’ve ever had pesto was while visiting Rome years ago. Barilla’s pesto is a great way to experience a taste of Italian cuisine!
It’s a nice balance of savory flavors with the right amount of salt and cheese. And super easy to use in a quick dinner time dish (especially on weeknights.) A lot of us don’t have time to use a mortar and pestle to make our own pesto. I love the convenience of grabbing a jar and whipping up a quick and tasty side dish like pasta!
