Happy New Year! I hope yours is off to a great start.
This year I am going to try to post more on our blog. We still have so much content from where we left off with our travels pre-pandemic like visiting Czech Republic in 2019 for example.
A lot has happened the last couple of months of 2021. We took two trips in late fall. We went to Williamsburg, Virginia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I will be positing a blog post about Williamsburg sometime in the coming months when I get the chance. We also booked a trip to Disney World in Orlando,Florida for the summer of 2022. We’re super excited about returning to Florida! It’s one of our favorite places.
Right now a lot of our time and energy is being thrown at our new project which leads me to one of our announcements.
Small Business Life
Surprise! We filed for an LLC and are now Ramnaths Away, LLC! I’m so excited for all the possibilities this can bring us as a small business.
Our flagship project is Ramnaths Away Crafts & Designs. Other than travel as a passion – I have always been fascinated by cute crafts, personalized gifts and fun, everyday things. Now I get to create my own to share with the world! Which I actually had an opportunity to speak about on iHeartRadio’s G105 “The Erica Show”. You can also listen to us chat about New Year resolutions, both are uploaded to our YouTube channel.
Everything is still in its infancy. I just opened up my shop on Etsy and I might be on Facebook Marketplace as well. I also want to see if I can set it up on our website. My goal is to launch all our products by Spring.
As for our blog, it’s not going away. You will still see lots of family, travel and inspirational content on our blog and social media platforms. I still love travel, we just can’t do much of it at this point in time.
I honestly don’t think I have a single niche. I’m a creator, I like to create things. I also feel like everything I do is a representation of myself and my family. Just us being ourselves and sharing our interests and life experiences with others. Life is too short to be categorized in one basket. You know what I mean?
Brookgreen Gardens Feature
More good news! One of our blog photos made it to Brookgreen Gardens’ 90th Anniversary coffee table book! It is now available for purchase through Brookgreen Gardens.
It’s an exciting milestone for our blog! Meshach took this candid photo of me and Tristan. It feels so official now that we’re featured in a real book. It makes me want to continue working hard on our blog. On everything we do!
If you’re ever in Myrtle Beach, go visit Brookgreen Gardens, it’s such a magical place!
Check out our blog post from when we first visited their beautiful gardens a few years ago.
Well that’s all for now! Please take a look around our new Etsy shop if you’d like. We will be adding more items over the next couple of months.
