We were hosted by Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach on a sponsored media visit for Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, as always opinions are our own.
If you couldn’t tell from my Insta Stories in the past, I love music, so staying at one of Hard Rock Hotel’s newest locations was a dream!
You can find their hotels worldwide, each unique while maintaining to keep its theme dedicated to music.
We had such a genuinely amazing stay in Florida at Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, that I don’t know where to begin!
Billboard Worthy Rooms
First off, this location opened in the spring of 2018 so it is still fairly new.
There are 200 rooms and you can choose to stay in one of their Deluxe Rooms or Suites. We stayed in an Oceanfront Deluxe Room complete with a balcony, two super comfortable Queen size beds using their signature “Sleep Like A Rock” bedding and towels, bathroom with stand up shower and their “Rock Spa” bath products.
Their rooms will have you feeling like a VIP in no time!
Another awesome thing we love about the rooms are the simple, music related touches seen throughout the rooms, even down to the embroidery of a guitar on some of the pillowcases.
Another example, the room numbers are adorned with classic album covers.
This is the room we stayed in, the Gerald Levert room. I just had to send this picture to my parents! They used to listen to his music when I was a kid.
And then we saw this one….
My inner high school version of myself squealed with delight! Y’all they had NSYNC for Room 523! My all time favorite boy band (sorry if you’re a Backstreet Boys or NKOTB fan, they’re cool too.)
Top of the Chart Services
There is self parking at no extra cost and Valet service. Please see their hotel policies page for updated information regarding additional services and resort fees.
Every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and helpful when we had questions, including off the beaten path, spots to eat that locals enjoy.
They were very knowledgeable about music and everything on display around the property. It was very cool seeing all of the music nostalgia and displays showcasing items from popular musicians.
Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach is also a beautiful museum of music. You can take a tour of it through my Insta Stories Daytona Beach Highlights tab.
Smashing Entertainment & Dining
There is an oceanfront pool, kids pool and play area for some water fun. Also can’t forget to mention the beach, which Tristan of course wanted to spend hours at!
We ate at their onsite restaurant, Sessions, a couple of times and very much enjoyed the delicious food. It also hosts live bands and performers on certain nights of the week.
We managed to catch some Frank Sinatra tunes and guess who was in the building one night?
You could also grab something to eat or drink at Wave Terrace, serving craft cocktails, beer, seafood and live music with a casual-chic vibe.
Also, Constant Grind, a cafe serving quick bites, desserts, and even house-made gelato. Yum!
Musical Notes
You can pick up some Hard Rock Hotel swag and other necessities from Rock Shop. Stay fit while away from home at the on-site Body Rock Fitness Center. And treat your mind and body at Rock Spa & Salon (also available on-site.)
If you have kids, then you are going to LOVE the included child care services at Hard Rock Roxity Youth Club. Tristan did not want to leave this place!
It reminds me of the kids club he kept visiting on our Carnival Cruise in the Bahamas. If there is a kids club at a hotel or resort, you can bet that Tristan will ask to go there!
The youth club is open to registered hotel guests only and welcomes ages 5 – 15 years old. At the time of our stay, the hours open were Sunday – Thursday 11am – 7pm and Friday & Saturday 11am – 9pm.
Your child is allowed to stay up to 3 hours before needing to be checked out or re-checked in. It’s because snacks and meals are not provided so they want to make sure your kid gets fed.
And it gets better!
“Sound of Your Stay” is Hard Rock Hotel’s signature, complimentary in-room music amenity program. Through this, you can get an authentic music experience during your stay.
Ever wanted to play the guitar or maybe you left yours at home? No problem! You can request one of their 20 different Fender guitars to be sent to your room along with a Fender Mustang floor amp, guitar pick and Nixon headphones (so there aren’t noise complaints.)
And guess what? It’s free at no additional cost!
Want a retro music experience at your fingertips? You can request a Crosley turntable and box of 10 vinyls filled with legendary albums for you to play and enjoy.
I hadn’t used a record player since I was a kid in the 80s!
“Sound of Your Stay” also allows guests to download curated playlists to enjoy during their stay. It was very awesome walking into our room and hearing my favorite pop songs play.
