Life Update: Where Are We Going Next?

Hey guys! I feel like it’s been awhile since my last life update post. We’ve got some exciting plans for the rest of 2017 that I can’t wait to tell you about!

Where Are We Going Next?

Drum roll please! Our next big trip (as a family) will be The Bahamas!

We are going on a cruise with Carnival and not only that, it will be the first time we’ve ever been on a cruise. It will also be the first time Tristan has ever left the country!

So if you have any cruising tips please let me know in the comments or shoot me a message. I’m all ears!

We will probably share photos and Insta Stories while on our trip if we can get internet access.

Not only that, we have some really good ideas for our video or vlog of the trip. If all turns out as I have planned in my head – it is definitely going to be unlike any video you’ve seen us shoot and edit before.

I’m super excited to get some shots of the trip, put my video editing skills to work and share it with all of you!

Hurricane Irma

Hurricane season is here

Well, North Carolina did not get hit by Irma as projected. Many North Carolinians were relieved however our hearts go out to those who were in her destructive path – The Caribbean, Florida and so on.

This hurricane season is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life and just today I found out about Hurricane Maria.

If you’re in her path, please stay safe and be as prepared as you can be.

Is it just me being weird or does anyone else feel like ever since the solar eclipse all heck has broken loose in the weather and nature in general? Earthquakes, hurricanes, etc.

Mother Earth must be mad.

Current Obsession

I’ve been listening to a lot of Latin music over the last month and it’s really helping me learn more Spanish. We may possibly go to South America so it doesn’t hurt to learn.

Plus, it’s always good to know a second language, right?

Preschool Life

First day of preschool

Tristan really loves going to preschool and he’s learning so much! Some of the things that comes out of his mouth is like having a teenager in a 4 year old’s body. Kids are strange!

There are a few things we really need to work on with him like learning his phone number and all of that important stuff. I love that his preschool sends weekly homework home with him to help him be prepared for kindergarten next year.

He’s really excited about kindergarten. I don’t think he will have an issue going but I know I will! Our little munchkin is growing up fast!

Besides being super busy at work and trying hard not to let days at a time go by before the next blog post, that’s all I’ve got for now. Follow us on our social media accounts for more real-time life updates.
