2017 Lonely Planet Magazine Fall Issue

I was provided a copy of the Lonely Planet Magazine Fall Issue for my honest review.

It has been a busy week! So I was happy to receive the new fall issue of Lonely Planet Magazine for a quick escape.

Fall is my absolute favorite time for travel. The weather is mostly tolerable, less tourists and much cheaper since it is off peak season. Tristan will be starting school next year so most of our travels are going to be during school breaks.

Redefine Adventure

In this issue of Lonely Planet Magazine, its goal is to make you “redefine adventure” and I think they did a wonderful job portraying that!

For instance, I never would’ve thought about a self-driving safari in Zambia. Whenever I hear about a safari it’s always been a guided tour of some type.

A self-drive is definitely an adventurous way to step outside of the box.

Would you do a safari on your own or with a guide?

I love that this Lonely Planet Magazine Fall Issue brought back another feature for Cuba – it is a place still high on my list to visit. Maybe next year?

Backstage Havana unveils a lot of the Cuban culture from art and dance, to food and way of life. Plus the photography is brilliant!

If you love food and Ireland then you’ll get the best of both worlds when you read about their road trip through Northern Ireland.

From sea to shore, each turn is literally an adventure of the senses.

This issue also features a tear out ‘Mini Guide’ highlighting LA, Toronto, Barcelona and London – more places I’d love to visit!

About Lonely Planet Magazine

In November 2015, Lonely Planet launched their quarterly magazine in the U.S. You can pick up a copy for $5.99 at many retailers including Barnes & Noble, Hudson Booksellers and Whole Foods Market. A digital version is available for Kindle, iPad and Nook for the same price or you can get a 1 year subscription for $8 – don’t miss out!

This issue was kindly given to me by Lonely Planet for review. As always my opinions are my own.
