My Etsy shop is open – yay! It is going slow, but hopefully it will pick up soon. To be honest, Etsy is heavily saturated with sellers who are selling their crafts and other products. So I’m not going to lie, I feel like my shop is invisible on their platform at the moment as it is being swallowed up in a sea of other sellers. It’s tough but I am going to keep at it. I am thinking about selling my items on our website instead. Maybe I’ll have better luck?
I know these things take a lot of time and I just started, but it is kind of discouraging at the same time.
I do not have physical items yet on my shop, but planning on doing that sometime this year. Right now I am researching what would work and not work in regards of making items like greeting cards, custom t-shirts, etc. But in the meantime, I am designing digital products to sell on my Etsy shop.
So far I have downloadable phone wallpapers, digital notebook covers and my newest – digital art prints.
What is a Digital Download Art Print?
A digital download art print is artwork that is in a digital file and can be saved on your computer. You can print them at home or take the file to a local printing service (like Walgreens for example) and have it printed for you there. Then you can frame it and display it in any room in your home, office, business or classroom if you’d like.
I offer five different print sizes for each of my designs: 4×5, 5×7, 8×10, 11×14 and 16×20. They are in a .png, .pdf and .jpg format – all included in a downloadable file for one low price.
I really enjoy designing my digital art in the Procreate App. It is also really therapeutic to just sit down with my iPad and draw things. Who knew I would enjoy creating art!
