Fall Vibes on My Spotify Playlist

Hooray it’s finally fall, my favorite season! I love fall because it’s not too hot yet not too cold – and not to forget the great food and wine!

I also like to change up my playlist with tunes that take me back to my school days.

Throwbacks Everyday

For some odd reason I go on a 90s and 2000s music kick when fall comes around. Maybe it’s because the fall reminds me of back to school days in the 90s when music was so good!

I mean, there’s still some good music these days, but there will never be anything like TLC (my mom’s favorite band), Mariah Carey, Madonna, Aaliyah and so on.

Speaking of Aaliyah, her music is amazing and always make me want to get up and dance! I just wish Spotify would add more of her songs to their library. However, I did find all of her songs on iHeart Radio recently so I’m excited about that!

Let’s Get Country

I also get the urge to listen to country music and I don’t know if it’s because my dad listens to it especially this time of year – who knows.

Or maybe because it reminds me of fall harvests, festivals, food, hanging out with friends, family and the NC State Fair.

Am I being weird or do you feel the same way too this time of year?

CAT Bulldozer Unboxing

Tristan spotted this cool Cat 9″ Big Builder Caterpillar Bulldozer at Walmart. It is freewheeling and has a lever that makes realistic bulldozer sounds, lights, sound effects, music and makes a great toy for preschool ages. A feature that Tristan really loves is its forward and reverse motion. Also its ability to lift loaded objects (like his blocks!)

It requires 2 AA batteries which are included in the box but I recommend having another set on hand as we had to replace the batteries after its frequent use.

My Spotify Sounds of Summer

Does your taste in music or song preference change with the seasons? Mine does (although sometimes I have a few that can go on repeat all year ahem, Britney and Selena.)

I love listening to Spotify because I can create playlists for any time of the year or occasion. I also love that I can listen for free with the occasional ad.

With summer set into high gear, I’ve created a Sounds of Summer playlist that I like to listen to on my commute to and from work.

Playlists are also a great idea because it can stop you from looking through your phone for music while driving. If your playlist is set up with your ultimate faves then you shouldn’t have to touch a thing!

Pop Music

In case you didn’t know – I am a long time fan of Britney Spears, so there are quite a few songs on my summer playlist from her latest album, Glory.

If you haven’t listened to it yet, check it out!

Selena Gomez is also another favorite of mine along with Shakira. Have you seen her video for “Me Enamoré“? It’s so fun and a great way to learn Spanish!

Plus, her music always makes me want to dance.

New Artists on Spotify

I love that Spotify has opportunities to discover new artists.

I heard an amazing instrumental created for a Pretty Little Liars promo for their final season by Mona Najib. I found out that she has a song on Spotify called “Limbo”. It is beautiful!

She is really talented and if I had to recommend only one song to play from my playlist, “Limbo” is definitely the winner.

My playlist is a mix of new and old music. Coldplay is a great example of old and new music that are timeless to me.
